Browsing and search. We may collect technical data such as device type, browser, approximate location from IP address, and pages viewed to keep the site secure and improve performance.

Account sign-in. If you create an account, authentication is handled by Clerk. We receive your account identifier, email, and profile details Clerk shares with us so we can recognize you across sessions.

Interest and outreach. When you request an introduction or reach out about candidates, we store the contact details you provide (such as name, email, phone, company, and message) along with the candidates you selected.

Wishlists. Saved favorites may be stored locally in your browser. Shared wishlist links and phone-based wishlist lookup store the shortlist and reference code you submit so you or your team can reopen them.

Host and admin activity. Authorized hosts who publish candidates may upload resumes, intro videos, and profile information on behalf of talent. Admin users may access lead and operational data needed to run the platform.

• Process introduction requests and route leads to our team or partners
• Authenticate users, enforce admin access, and prevent abuse
• Store and deliver media (resumes, videos, avatars) through our infrastructure
• Improve reliability, debug issues, and comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to operate the service, including with:

• Service providers such as Clerk (authentication), Convex (database and backend), and Vercel Blob (media storage)
• Recruiting partners when you submit interest in candidates, so we can follow up on your request
• Legal or safety reasons when required by law or to protect users and the platform

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, fulfill introduction requests, and meet legal requirements. We use industry-standard hosting and access controls, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

• Clear saved favorites in your browser or stop using shared wishlist links
• Sign out of your account at any time through the account menu
• Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data where applicable law allows

WattaHire! is intended for business hiring use and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after updates means you accept the revised policy.
